In the installations of Marina Fulgeri most elements from reality are modified by minimal interventions, sliding away imperceptibly from the initial objects.
They are able to create other possible states, other dimensions, playing with the unforeseeable and diverse reactions of onlookers.
The work "Megaphone", an installation expressly created for the show, combines the suggestion of music evoked by ancient instruments to the sound of the voice called to mind by the megaphone, symbol of a specific historical period. The megaphone is displayed as a historical musical instrument, precious in the its new chromed plating: it no longer utters sounds, but its image evokes them.
A combination of meanings, an incoherence within coeherence, an anomaly in the museum's exhibitionary logic which calls the surrounding museum environment into question.
